8VO, 376 pgs., maps, Hardcover Hardcover. Blue textured cloth with blue embossed design to board edges front and rear. Gold coat of arms on front board. Title on sun darkened spine in gold. Boards, corners and edges are rubbed, frayed and soiled. Previous owners name, stamp and notations on first free endpaper. Hinges are cracked and partially broken. Text block is nice and tight. Endpapers are noticeably foxed. Some foxing to foredge, and occasional light foxing to text margins. Text itself is completely legible. Foldout map in rear is intact and a bit foxed. The Landfall of Columbus on his first Voyage to America with a translation of the Baron Bonnefoux's History of his Previous Life, also a chart showing his track from the Landfall to Cuba and an outline of his subsequent voyages.
