8VO, 315 pgs., B/W Photos, Hardcover Hardcover: Tan cloth binding with title on frontboard and on spine in brown. Board soil. Corners are rubbed. Spine binding is oxidized. Occasional foxing to text. Book contained some uncut pages. When page 145 was separated it was done roughly and sections were torn away and then tape repaired. Two inch section from bottom right corner is missing. Text is completely legible. This is an account of the work of the Royal Army Medical Corps in Egypt from its earliest days in 1893 to the close of the Sinai Desert Campaign in 1917. Vintage photos throughout. Nice tight binding
