8VO, 31 pgs., Paperback Softcover. This is the text block of the 31 page oration by William Burdick, delivered in Franklin Hall July 5, 1802 before the Boston Franklin Association. He was vice president of the society at that time. The two page Anniversary Ode composed by Mr. Burdick comprise the last two pages. There are no covers, and the pages are pulling away from their sewn hinge. The loose pages are laid in and all pages are present. Deckle edges are chipped. Pages are lightly oxidized and foxed, but otherwise clean. These pages have been encased in a plain hardcover green cloth portfolio for their safety. Portfolio shows light soil, some spotting and edgewear.
