Two-toned binding, photo- Illustrated boards with cloth spine. Title on frontboard and tipped in on spine. Slightly 'mottled' paste-downs. Title and text pages are printed on 'Cream' extra heavy paper stock and are pristine. Notes on 'Aaron's Rod and other notes on Lawrence are from the Paris notebooks of Henry Miller. Nice tight binding.

The slipcase calls itself "The 99 copy Blue Oasis 1st Edition, Autographed. Spine is covered in blue leather with gold band and lettering. Some fading to leather. The rest of the boards are covered in light grey cloth. Very slight soil. Uniquely bound with multi colored deckle edged pages. Gift inscribed on half title. Nice tight binding. Jacket: Mostly separated along spine edge. Protective mylar keeps it neatly together. Large chips missing from head, tail and middle of spine. Illustrated front cover with author's photo on back. Slipcase has ' cork' design hand - tipped to front, rear and spine. Some edgewear, rubbing and light soil.

Henry Miller examines the American scene with moving portraits of the painters, Rattner, Delaney and Varda and the sculptor Bufano. Illustrated. Nice tight binding. Jacket:Covers have a wrap-around illustration,design by Simon Greco. Corners and spine ends are chipped. Half inch chip missing from all across top spine edge, one inch chip missing from bottom spine edge. Half inch chip missing from top right corner area of rear cover. Light soil. Front and back covers are oxidized. In protective mylar.
