Top foredge of last 35 pages of text has 1/16" grease markings.DJ has same front and rear markings as well as some light edgewear chipping, mostly at top of spine. Rather a long winded explanation of this defect that does not affect the text at all. Overall it is still a very respectable copy, clean and tight.

Title, text pages printed on matte paper are clean. Pale blue illustrated dust jacket shows light edgewear. Small rubbed spot to center of spine. Very nice in protective mylar. The stories in this first collection of Vincent Starrett's macabre tales range in time from his earliest writing years to the present. Nice tight binding.
