Spine is sun darkened and soiled. One lightly frayed corner. Shelfwear. Illustrated endpapers. Previous owners name on second free endpaper. Light foxing to foredges. Scarecrow saves Trot and Cap'n Bill from a dreadful fate. Nice tight binding.Text is clean and bright. All illustrations are black and white which leads us to believe that this edition was published after 1935 when the publisher started printing OZ books without color illustrations.
